  • Canoe, kayak and SUP-board rental. 2 hours for a quick trip on the fjord or 24 hours for an expedition up the river!

  • Sørlandsbadet water park, 2km away. Two big pools, many slides, two jacuzzis and a wellness area with a hot pool, sauna and steam room, as well as a gym
  • Lucky Strike Bowling, 500m away
  • Sherpatrappa (The Sherpa Stairs), 2km away. This fairly short walk starts behind Rema 1000 in the center of Lyngdal and climbs an impressive rock staircase to an open day trip cabin with a great view
  • Skrelia Hiking Area, 8km away. Amazing area with varied trails around lakes, waterfalls and mountains with fjord views

  • North - Kvåsfossen waterfall and Villakssenteret salmon center, Tingvatn (ancient history park, stone circles)
  • South-east - Lindesnes, the southernmost point of Norway
  • South - Hausvikodden Fort (a German fort from the 2nd world war with a labyrith of tunnels) and Korshamn (beautiful old harbour)
  • South-west - The Lista region. Beaches, kyststien (the coastal trail - there's a particularly exciting leg from Snekkestø to Varnes lighthouse), Pennefeltet (ancient rock carvings), Bøensbakken (old road, now walkable path, in a vertical mountainside), Lista Lighthouse, Loshavn (typical old fishing village)
